‘Weytin u gain’ song was first rejected – Victor AD

‘Weytn u gain’ hit-maker and Nigerian singer Victor Adere popularly known as victor AD has described the rejections he faced in the past as one of his biggest motivations.

Speaking to Jon Germain on the zone Friday he said ‘I’ve gotten to places where they’ve actually rejected me, and rejected this song ‘weytn u gain’.”

“At the end of the day, people see it as an embarrassment, they see it as being disappointed but I see it as my biggest motivation. It was like a week old, even when it was 2 months plus, it was rejected, he added.”

Victor AD who was adjudged Best African Act at the just ended music awards noted that he is not trying to make songs to sound like or be better than ’weytn u gain’ but follows his heart.

“Every song has their own vibe and season. I shouldn’t be all about trying to beat weytn u gain. Or do a song like weytn u gain. I just release a new song and follow my heart, he said. “

He revealed that if he can affect one or two lives with his musk and change lives positively, that would be his biggest achievement.”
