Tokyo 2020: Amoah qualifies for semifinals in 200m race

Ghanaian sprinter Joseph Paul Amoah has qualified for the semifinals of the men’s 200m in the ongoing 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Amoah finished 3rd in heat 7 with a time of 20:35s.

USA’s Noah Lyles finished first with eSwatini’s S. Masenjwa, finishing in second place.

Amoah will take the track again in the semifinal later today, Tuesday with the hope of making it to the finals.
