Southampton vs Man United: Rio Ferdinand demands one thing from Red Devils stars

Former Manchester United centre-back, Rio Ferdinand, wants to see consistency from the Red Devils when they face Southampton in an away Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Man United bounced back from a woeful two defeats to start the season with a crucial 2-1 win over Liverpool last Monday.

Goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford gave Erik ten Hag’s side all three points against the Reds at Old Trafford.

However, Ferdinand wants to see that momentum carry over into today’s game against Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium, asking for Manchester United to be consistent.

In a tweet via his Twitter handle, Ferdinand wrote: “En route to Southampton… Consistency pls from Monday!”

Man United currently sits in the 14th position on the Premier League table with three points from three games.
