Solomon Asante scores in Phoenix 4-0 win over San Antonio FC [VIDEO]

Ghana winger, Solomon Asante was on the scoresheet as Phoenix defeated San Antonio FC 4:0.

Striker Chris Cortez scored the first goal in the 18th minute.

Just about 10 minutes later the former Asante Kotoko winger increased the tally to a 2-0.

San Antonio goalkeeper Diego Restrepo tried to pass the ball out from the back but sent the ball right to Asante.

From 25 yards away, Asante slotted an easy shot into the empty net.

Vega closed out the scoring in the first half.

In stoppage time he received a pass in the middle of the box from Jason Johnson smashing a volley into the back of the net to give the club a 3-0 lead at the break.

Forbes finished off the match’s scoring in the 64th minute.

After playing a ball out wide to Jason Johnson to the left of the box, Forbes ran into the penalty area.

He hit Johnson’s pass back to him on the first touch and scored.

Solomon Asante has scored 12 goals for the Phoenix Rising Stars in the ongoing campaign.
