Former Brazilian international Ronaldinho GaÃºcho has paid tribute to Ghanaian diplomat Kofi Annan who passed on over the weekend.
Kofi Annan was pronounced dead in Switzerland after an illness.
The celebrated Ghanaian envoy made a big name for himself around the globe with his huge contribution as the Secretary-General for the United Nations.
His death left many saddened with the former Ballon d’Or winner paying tributes to the respected personality.
He wrote on his official tweeter handle, he said, “Go in peace, Kofi Annan ðŸ™ðŸ¾ One of the great leaders I’ve had the honor of meeting. You have always held out your hand with compassion and empathy for all peoples. To serve as an example to all the rulers”.
