Speaking at the 70th anniversary of his enstoolment, Togbi Salu III appealed to all stakeholders in the electoral process, including political parties, the electoral commission, security services, and citizens, to ensure a credible and peaceful election.
"The political climate is heating up as we approach the December 7 general elections. I urge all involved to refrain from any actions that could undermine the process and compromise the peace of our nation," he stated.
He cautioned citizens to reject any politician who seeks to incite violence or disturb the peace. "As chiefs, we must not tolerate such politicians in our communities. We must send a clear message that we value our people and will not allow them to be used for violent purposes," he added.
