God is a Ghanaian – Asiedu Nketiah says

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, is of the firm assertion that God Almighty, described as Father for all, was born in Ghana.

Mr Nketiah pronounced God a Ghanaian during the inauguration ceremony of 11 members of the party to serve as members of the National Executive Committee.

He noted that with God on Ghana’s side, the country will be able to avoid the military takeovers happening in the sub-region.

According to Mr Asiedu Nketiah, the tumbling of democratic governance in countries such as Niger, Burkina Faso, and Gabon should be a wake-up call for the government.

He admitted that the difficult economic conditions Ghanaians face, which have prompted military takeovers in other countries, will be resolved due to divine intervention.

He said: “We have never had this length of democratic stability, so it is something we should value and we shouldn’t toil with.

The happenings in the sub-region ought to be a wake up call. All of us, I know that the challenges are daunting. But somehow I believe that God is a Ghanaian so we shall overcome it. And we will survive and protect this our stability.”
