A video has gone viral on social media about a policeman assaulting a nursing mother in a banking hall.
It is not clear yet what the woman has done.
However, the angry policeman, Lance Corporal Godzi Frederick Amanor, in a bid to drive her out of the banking hall assaults the lady with an umbrella, punches and slaps her as if he was in a fight for survival.
However, unconfirmed reports suggest that the incident occurred at the banking hall of Midland Savings & Loan at East Legon in Accra.
Asempanews.com understands that the lady in questioned had gone to the bank to withdraw an amount of GHC250 but a misunderstanding ensued leading to the officer pummeling her into submission.
The footage shows that despite the punches and slaps, the poor woman held on tightly to her child until a man in the bank wrenched the baby out of her grip so the child could be taken out of harm’s way.
