Former Black Stars right full back Samuel Inkoom is eager to make a strong comeback into Ghana local football and possibly use the opportunity to re-launch his football career into the senior national team – Black Stars.
“I’m back to Ghana football with a purpose. Anytime and anywhere the opportunity will present itself I will prove my worth and let people know that I still have enough football in me.
“I’m with Hearts now and I like what I have started doing as a player. I hope to do more and see what the future has for me. I want to finish whatever was left behind some years back and wearing the Black Stars jersey again is still in mind” Inkoom said.
Samuel Inkoom hit the limelight in 2007/08 when he joined Asante Kotoko. After a successful spell with the Porcupines, he went to Europe to continue his football career.
He returned home last season to ply his trade with continental masters Accra of Oak. Some Football experts were doubtful as to whether he can make it in the local scene but Inkoom has proven critics wrong so far.
He excelled in the few matches he played for Hearts of Oak and helped them to defend the MTN FA Cup against Bechem United in Kumasi.
