My wife has stood behind me since stroke attacked me – Veteran Kumawood Actor Kwaku Twumasi

Veteran Kumawood Actor Kwaku Twumasi has shown appreciation to his dear wife for her great care and support all this while. The actor is battling with stroke and according to Kwaku Twumasi his wife has never feel discouraged or tired about his present condition.

“In times like this if you don’t have a good wife she can neglect and leave you behind. But my wife has stood solidly behind me in terms of prayers and everything. I really appreciate her a lot. May God bless her and continue to give her the necessary strength to hold me” said Kwaku Twumasi.

There is no way one can talk about Ghana Movie industry without mentioning the name Kwaku Twumasi. In early 2000, he featured in most local movies. Their amazing movie “Judgement Day” in 2001 featuring Stars like Fred Amugi, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Koo Nimo, Judas and the late Bob Santo will forever be the toast of most Ghanaians.

But he has been battling with health for the past eleven years. Despite the challenge, some movie producers including Socrate Sarfo still gives him a role to play in their movies and TV series because of his great potential.

^This is a great man any movie producer will like to give him a role to play at any given time. We can’t ingore his vast experience and knowledge because he is sick. I remember I was writing a movie script and his name quickly came to mind. At that time he was sick but I took my whole crew to Kumasi to shoot the movie because I wanted to feature him at all cost” scriptwriter and movie producer Socrate Sarfo narrated.

Popular Movie Producer Samuel Nyamekye of Miracle Films who has discovered and glommed most actors and actresses in Ghana has also described Kwaku Twumasi as a man with great ideas.

“We started movie with him way back. When he features in your movie you can be rest assured of quality work. I think we deserve to honour Kwaku Twumasi now and should wait till his death” Samuel Nyamekye said.
