Elvis Adjei-Baah,Â the Public Relations Officer ofÂ Youth and Sports Ministry says his outfit yet receive a withdrawal letter from GHALCA boss, Kudjo Fianoo.
Reports emerged that the former Ashgold Chief Executive Officer has withdrawn from the five-member interim committee set up by the government to restructure football in the country after the dissolution of the FA following Anasâ€™ video titled â€œNumber 12â€.
According to several reports, Fianoo was advised by the clubs to reject governmentâ€™s appointment as they believed it will amount to betrayal.
â€œWe are yet to receive a withdrawal letter from Kudjo Fianoo,â€Adjei-Baah told Asempa FM.
â€œWe are only hearing it on the radio, but we have not been officially informed. Because of that we canâ€™t take what is been said on the radio as the official communique from Fianoo.â€
FIFA will meet government of Ghana on Friday in Accra over the crisis that has hit the governance of football in the country,
