Kotoko grateful to Kuami Eugene

The management of Asante Kotoko together with their fans have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Hiplife star Kuami Eugene for his great support and show during their coronation as 2021/22 Ghana Premier League Champions.

The Porcupine Warriors churned out a splendid performance to win the just ended Ghana Premier League with an amazing 67 points under the tutelage of Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum.

Kotoko were officially crowned as 26th League Champions by the GFA during their penultimate match against relegated Elmina Sharks at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium which Kotoko won 3-1.

The colourful coronation brought together dignitaries including chiefs, football administrators, politicians, musicians among other people to the stadium.

Former VGMA Artiste of the Year Kuami Eugene was also not left out. He was there to shake and entertain the milling crowd at the stadium and his wonderful songs and dancing skills. According to kotoko management that wonder display from the “Rock Star” will always be a great moment to savour.

“The entire kotoko fraternity is much appreciative to Kuami Eugene. He has proven that indeed he is a true and supportive Porcupine” said Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah.
