It will take forever for Patapaa to drop another hit like ‘One Corner’

Samini has made a damning assertion about Patapaa who is already licking his wounds after he painfully lost to Fancy Gadam at the 2018 VGMA.

According to the dancehall artiste born, Emmanuel Andrews Samini, it is unfortunate Patapaa lost the 2018 VGMA most popular song award; stating that it will take the “One Corner” hitmaker forever to produce another hit like that track.

The Founder of High Grade Family speaking with Abeiku Santana on the ATUU Show on UTV last week Saturday, said that ‘One Corner’ was the breakthrough for Patapaa and with the competition in the industry, it will be rather hard for him to cause similar shockwave like he did with his first hit.

“I was disappointed Patapaa didn’t win anything at the VGMA. I don’t have anything against whoever won over Patapaa, but I think he should have won something with ‘One Corner’; to get another ‘One Corner’, will be a challenge.

“Despite the loss, I generally think he’s doing well as he’s in demand. He surprised Ghana; I love surprises like that, as it proves that there’s a living God who blesses his children, when they are not even aware. Nobody expected Patapaa’s song to be explosive the manner it did last year, but he’s going places because of this track,” he said.
