Ghanaian popular actor Kwadwo Nkansah Liwin has expressed his readiness to forget any misunderstanding between him and Agya Koo and work together in harmony to revive the local movie.
The local movie flopped totally about two decades ago when Bob Santo and co lost from the movie industry. It took the great intervention by Alex Kofi Adu alia Agya Koo, the former Key Soap Concert Party Best Comedian to bring it back to life.
Agya Koo, used his abundant comedy talent and skill to turn around Kumawood to become the cynosure of all eyes in Ghana and abroad. He later introduced and trained people like Kwaku Manu, Lilwin and co to also become stars.
But along the line Agya Koo fell out of relationship with Lilwin as well as other movie producers who thought Agya Koo was demanding too much for a movie. This eventually led to the total collapse of Kumawood.
But the good news is that Lilwin wants to put history behind him and join forces with his boss to rekindle the local movie. Not long ago some movie actors like Oboy Siki, Boobo together with some other movie producers paid a courtesy call on Agya Koo.
The motive behind their meeting was to assure the veteran actor their resolve to join hands with him and work towards achieving a common goal.
Most Ghanaians have lauded this step by Lilwin and his colleagues and are itching to see what happens next.
