Veteran high-life musician, Rex Omar, has disclosed that he will not allow his children to do music for living.
According to the musician, in the eyes of the public everything seems well and comfortable but in reality musicians donâ€™t have money.
Further advising, the up and coming musicians to not solely rely on music but venture into other businesses to keep them going.
The music personality revealed this when speaking in an interview with Emcee Bebe on Entertainment Xtra on Cape FM.
â€œOnce you are an up and coming, be sure you donâ€™t throw your education away. Try to be sure that as youâ€™re pursuing your music career, you do something that will put food on your table. Until you start earning a serious income from music, do something to support yourself.

Rex Omari Sarfo famously known as Rex Omar is currently the chairman of the Ghana Music Rights Association (GHAMRO) whose duty is to make sure musicians benefits from their works.
