I charge high to avoid collabo with substandard artistes – Kofi Kinaata

Ghanaian hip-life artiste, Kofi Kinaata, has revealed that he intentionally charges high to avoid collaborating with musicians he describes as “substandard”.

The “Sweety-pie” music fame, born Martin King Arthur, has become one of the most successful musician’s in recent times.

According to him, in the process of maintaining the high name of his brand, he deliberately charges high to scare off substandard artistes.

The music personality said this when speaking in an interview with Miss Betty on the Swift Show on Pan African TV.

“To avoid featuring on a low-quality song for a colleague artiste, I charge hugely to scare him. I do that because I don’t want to devalue my brand featuring on songs that my fans will be disappointed to hear.”

Kofi Kinaata is a musician and songwriter from Takoradi. He is noted for his fante rap and freestyle and therefore known as the Fante Rap God (FRG).
