Goalkeeper Felix Annan wins first trophy in USA

Ghanaian International Felix Annan has won his first ever trophy since moving to the United States of America.

The intelligent goalie was superb for his club side Maryland Bobcats FC in their Mid-Atlantic Region Independent Cup making some timely saves. His effort was rewarded with the glittering trophy which happens to be his first in USA.

Felix Annan started his football career with West Africa Football Academy before joining Asante Kotoko. He won many silverwares with Kotoko including league trophies and FA Cup.

He got the chance to play for the Black Stars at a point in time. After more than ten years spell with Kotoko, he moved to USA to continue his football career. He describes life in his new club as interesting.

“Things have been good. I am enjoying my stay in USA. It is a new challenge for me. Anytime I get the chance I try to utilise it well. I believe this trophy will spur me on to more glories” he noted.

Apart from him, former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Razak Abalora is also doing extremely well for Sherrif FC in Moldova.
