Ghanaian players abroad making big impact for their clubs

It was a perfect weekend for Ghanaian players outside the shores of the country as they played exceedingly well to bring good results to their respective clubs.

In France defender Alexander Djiku was on the score sheet for Strasbourg against Stade Reins at the Stade de la Meinau. His maiden goal helped his team to secure a 1-1 draw in the French Ligue 1. Djiku stayed on the field for the entire 90 minutes and was strong in the defence.

In the Dutch League in Netherlands midfielder Kudus Mohammed came from bench in the second half when his team Ajax Amsterdam engaged Sparta Rotterdam. He played 17 minutes and gave good account of himself.

Black Stars deputy skipper Thomas Teye Partey was sensational for the Gunners in the English Premier League. Partey has so far powered Arsenal to three wins in three games against Crystal Palace (2-0), Leicester City (4-2) and Brentford (3-0).

Striker Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp were on board for Crystal Palace in their marvellous 3-1 home win over Coach Steven Gerrard and his Aston Villa team. Jeffrey Schlupp played 82 minutes while Jordan Ayew played 70 minutes.
