Legitimate Kingmakers Of Navro-Pio Expose Lies, Disassociate Themselves From Fake Press Conference
The Navrongo Traditional Council and its only legitimate kingmakers unequivocally condemn the vile and orchestrated media circus staged by impostors under the sponsorship of shadowy figures with personal agendas — shamefully amplified by some reckless online media and bloggers.
A source close to the legitimate traditional authorities made it clear that so-called "press conference" purportedly held in Navrongo on April 16, 2025, is nothing but a fraudulent theatre of lies manufactured to sow confusion, discredit the authority of the Navro-Pio Asagepare II, and obstruct a legitimate and constitutionally compliant elevation process.
The source stated emphatically:
"The authors and attendees of this supposed press conference are NOT kingmakers, elders, or customary actors within the Navrongo Traditional Area.
... They are hired mercenaries, political stooges, and mouthpieces whose consistent attempts to bully, sabotage, and interfere in Navrongo’s internal affairs are well-documented and now laid bare."
There is no looming chieftaincy crisis in Navrongo. The only threat is the unethical manipulation of state and media platforms by the unseen hands of pay masters, who have falsely represented as stakeholders in matters that are legally, geographically, and customarily outside his jurisdiction."
The source added "The legitimate Kingmakers of Navrongo, have already publicly disassociated themselves from the fake event, exposing it as a bogus, staged campaign to deceive the National House of Chiefs and the Ghanaian public.
The Navro-Pio is the sole and lawful President of the Navrongo Traditional Council, constitutionally empowered to initiate elevation processes for deserving chiefs within his area.
He has followed due process — backed by evidence, tradition, and the support of the actual stakeholders.
