Sakumono Skating Games 2024: A National Celebration of Roller Sports Excellence
The stage is set for an exhilarating display of talent as the Sakumono Skating Club, under the auspices of Ghana Skate, hosts the 5th edition of the Sakumono Skating Games on December 21, 2024.
This flagship event aims to elevate roller sports in Ghana and beyond, bringing together 500 skaters from 10 elite clubs across the nation.
Sanctioned by Ghana Skate, the national federation for skating and a member of World Skate, the event will feature competitions in Inline Speed and Inline Freestyle, alongside exhibition games in Skateboarding, Roll Ball, and the high-adrenaline Broadway Sprint, a 1-kilometer race designed to thrill participants and spectators alike.
Adding to the excitement are community-centered activities such as the Sakumono Christmas Market and the Community Storming Skating Parade, creating a festive atmosphere that promises fun for all ages.
"We are thrilled to host the 5th edition of the Skating Games, which has become a premier event on Ghana's skate sporting calendar," said Reginal George Quaye, Chairman of Sakumono Skate.

The President of Ghana Skate echoed this sentiment, pledging full support for the event and confirming the attendance of the Federation's executive members.
