NPC Ghana Held its Extraordinary General Assembly
The National Paralympic Committee on Saturday, April 20 held its maiden Extraordinary General Assembly at the Airport West Hotel
The maiden Congress saw over 20 Member Federations unanimously endorsed proposals for Elective Congress set for 4 October 2024.
The members also approved it membership annual affiliation fees of One Thousand Ghana Cedis, the said contribution will assist the committee in management duties and the welfare of it's members.
During the Congress, Para Table Tennis, Boccia Para Sports among others were also accepted as members of the Ghana Paralympic Committee.
With the ten Para Federations, the General Assembly of the Ghana Paralympic Committee formed a quorum out of the thirteen to admit sports federations that successfully qualified the Constitutional provision and Ghana's Sports Regulations 2023 L.I. 2477
The Assembly brought together Committee Members, Athletics, Federation Head, the Deputy Sports Minister, and Members from the Media.
