Respected New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart and former Majority Leader and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Lawyer Abraham Ossei-Aidooh, was in, what can be described as one of life’s rarest twilights, this week, having to mark a year’s milestone of the passing of his dear wife, and at the same time, celebrate his attainment of the Biblically allotted fulsome age of 70.

This bitter-sweet irony, saw one of Ghana’s most respected legal brains both visiting the cemetery, and holding a jamboree at his house in one day.

On Monday morning, the former Member of Parliament for Tema West, visited the grave of his dearly beloved late wife, Juliana Oparebea Aidooh, to reconnect with her, as part of the commemoration of the one year remembrance of Madam Juliana, a Godfearing beautiful woman of the Immanuel Methodist Church in Tema Community 11.

As part of the commemoration, prayers were led for the gentle soul of Mama Juliana in the bosom of The Lord she ardently served while here on earth.

Other symbolic rituals were the singing of hymns, and the reading of tributes and eulogies to the late soul mate of Lawyer Aidooh.

But from the Tema Community 9 cemetery, Lawyer   Abraham Ossei-Aidooh, together with loved ones, including friends, family, church members and well-wishers headed back home straight into a  birthday bash to celebrate his 70th birthday in a low key with his respected friends such as Edward Ababio, alias Opuler, a former chairman of the Tema Premier Tennis Club and a Petroleum Engineer of the GNPC, Yaw Baffoe, a businessman with high pedigree and Mike Yaw Offei, a diplomat who is known in international circles and liked by many because of his Godfearing nature and impact at the World Bank and the IMF, Napoleon Wobil, a petro-chemical engineer who has travelled extensively, Dr. Michael Quarshie, chairman of the Tema Premier Tennis Club, Ken Mpare, a philanthropist and executive secretary of the KGL Foundation, Oti Boakye Yiadom, a retired banker, Alhaji Farouk, alias Bobby, a businessman, Sir I.B Armah, a retired engineer, Michael Adade Foli, hardworking captain of the Tema Premier Tennis Club and Martin Boakye, an estate developer were in attendance  to show love to their friend, Ossei Aidooh.
