Beyonce’s 69-year-old Mom Reportedly Divorces 2nd Husband
Beyonce’s 69-year-old mother, Tina Knowles, has reportedly called it quits with her 2nd husband, Richard Lawson.
MediaTakeOut reports the duo appear to have gone their separate ways after marrying in 2015.
Tina separated from her first husband Matthew Knowles in 2011 after 31 years of marriage and two daughters – Beyonce and Solange.
In 2015, she married actor Richard Lawson, who has been a longtime friend of hers.
They two have been going steady for a while but MediaTakeOut now reports they’re marriage is on the rocks.
The U.S. ttabloid points to a few clues – first Tina taking off Lawson from her social media bios as well as the two scrubbing any mention of the other from their timelines.
Other clues, according to MediaTakeOut include Richard completely skipping Jay-Z’s mother’s wedding when the entire Knowles and Carter families showed up.
MTO adds: “…Richard has been traveling the world promoting his new movie, Black Terror. It’s the biggest project that Richard has ever worked on – and he’s been pushing it all ver the world. He’s attended the Essence Festival, and Cannes Film Festival promoting the film and his wife Tina has NOT been by his side for any of the promotion. Oh, and Richard is NOT wearing his wedding ring either,”
Meanwhile, Tina was recently in the news after her house was burgled. The robbers made off with over $1m in loot!
