The Black Princesses will battle for qualification in Grouo D against Japan, Holland and USA. The team went to France for a brief training tour enroute to Costa Rica for their major assignment.
Their opponents – Japan, Holland and USA have proven to be a force to reckon with when it comes to female youth football. However, the coach of Black Princesses says they are well equipped to face their Group D counterparts.
“I believe in our ladies. They have played a series of friendly matches so I can they are tried and tested. We are waiting for the tournament to commence and prove our worth to the world.
“We are not under any pressure. Our girls have received a lot of tutorial so they are physically and psychologlly fit for the battle. We pray God will grant us the favour and luck and surely we shall return home with good news” he noted.
The tournament will kick start on August 10, 2022. Ghanaians will definitely expect much from the Princesses this time round following their unimpressive shows in their previous world cup appearances.
