Former Ghana striker, Augustine Arhinful have called on the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association to resign as soon as possible.
The Executive Committee has taken an entrenched position and are currently battling the government in court after the government took the steps to dissolve the country’s football governing body after the airing of the Anas Aremeyaw Anas documentary.
But the former AshantiGold FC forward has insisted that the ExCO contributed to where the country’s football has gotten to and have called on them to resign.
“No doubt that we have good people among the Executive Members of the FA but they have all contributed to where we are today.
“None of them told the former Ghana FA boss [Kwesi Nyantakyi] to do the right thing.
“There is no need to mention names but all the ExCO members should resign on bulk.
“When things are put in place properly and when their presence are needed they will vote them in power.
“We need good people to lead our football but with what happened, we don’t need them again.
