After winning his first trophy with Accra Great Olympics, strong midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang is determined to make a great impact as he returns into the Ghana Premier League for the second time in life.
“I have accepted a new challenge to play in the domestic league. The responsibility now lies on my shoulders to work hard and prove my worth to Olympics fans and Ghanaians in general that I still have enough football in me” he said.
Emmanuel Agyemang Badu played for Berekum Arsenal and later Asante Kotoko in the local scene. Following his successful campaign in the 2009 FIFA Youth Championship with the Black Satellites in Egypt, he went outside to continue his football career.
After almost 10 years stay in Europe, he has come back home to re-launch his football as the case of Gladson Awako, Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari and others who returned from abroad recently to continue from where they stopped.
Emmanuel Agyemang has signed for Accra Great Olympics and has started showing signs of better things to come. He had a good game in the just ended Ghalca Top 6 competition where Great Olympics emerged the eventual winners.
He is happy with the progress he has started making and hopes to go places in the 2022/23 Betpawa Premier League. “It’s a good start. I’m happy with this trophy won. I know it will inspire me to more victtories” he noted.
